The protect™ i-Size infant car seat is designed with both parents and babies in mind, combining the highest level of safety with unmatched convenience. This set includes the infant car seat with recline, and the rotating ISOFIX base, giving you effortless access and superior comfort from day one.
The innovative 180° swivel ISOFIX base turns the car seat toward you, making it easier to lift your baby in and out without awkward angles or back strain. With clear green/red indicators, you’ll always know the seat is safely locked in place.
In the car, protect™ offers a gentle recline so your baby can travel comfortably. Off the base, it reclines to a lie-flat position on your Mountain Buggy stroller or indoors (when off the base), ensuring uninterrupted rest wherever you go.
At only 4.7kg including the newborn insert, protect™ is one of the lightest i-Size infant car seats available. Despite its lightweight build, it features EPP foam side panels for maximum impact absorption and safety, meeting the toughest R129 i-Size safety standards.
Suitable from 40–87cm (newborn up to approx. 24–30 months), protect™ adjusts easily with a no re-thread harness and 6-position headrest. The removable infant insert ensures your child stays comfortable and secure as they grow.
Compatible with all Mountain Buggy strollers, protect™ (car seat adapters sold separately), letting you move from car to buggy without disturbing your baby.
For use in more than one vehicle you may wish to purchase an additional rotating isofix base, making transitions between vehicles even easier.

We recommend replacing any car seat that has been involved in a crash. Even if it looks fine, there could be internal damage that would make it unsafe. The seat has done its job by protecting your child and therefore needs replacing. Most insurance companies will cover this expense. To be sure, please request a police report on the accident.
